EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION / ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR SSC CPO
Those who have a Bachelor’s degree in any subject from a recognized institution or are equivalent are eligible to take the SSC CPO Exam. Candidates who have not yet received but will receive the educational qualification and provide documentary confirmation from the Board or University on their behalf, as of August 30, 2022, will be eligible for SSC CPO 2022.
AGE LIMIT FOR SSC CPO SI
- Age limit of the candidates for SSC CPO SI is from 20 to 25 years.
- For SSC CPO 2022, candidates born not before 02.01.1997 and not later than 01.01.2002 are eligible to apply.
- Age relaxation for various reserved categories will be as per GoI Rules.
Selection Process For SSC CPO SI
Candidates will be shortlisted for the PET/PST Test based on their performance in SSC CPO Paper-I (including bonus points for an NCC certificate). In each section of Paper-I, the Commission shall have the option of establishing different cutoff marks, taking into account category-wise vacancies and category-wise number of candidates.
The SSC CPO Paper-II Assessment will only accept those applicants who qualify via the PET/PST. Candidates will be shortlisted for the Medical Examination based on their performance in SSC CPO Paper-I and Paper-II (including bonus marks in the case of NCC certificate). Candidates’ performance in Paper-I and Paper-II (including bonus points for those who have a NCC certificate) will be used to determine final selection and allocation of Post/Force.
Application Fees SSC CPO SI Exam
Rs 100/- (Rs. one hundred only). Women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Ex-servicemen (ESM) are exempted from payment of fee.
