Shivaji University Recruitment 2022 – Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

Qualifications for the following posts of Assistant Professor are as per Government of Maharashtra, Government Resolution dtd. 11/09/2019.

• B. E./ B. Tech./ B. S. and M. E./ M. Tech./ M. S. or Integrated M. Tech. in relevant branch with first class or equivalent in any one of the degrees.

Following Qualifications for the Post of Assistant Professor (Post Code No.43/22- 11 ) as per UGC Notification dtd. 18 July 2018 and Government of Maharashtra Government Resolution dtd. 08/03/2019.

• A Master‘s degree with 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever the grading system is followed) in a concerned/ relevant/ allied subject from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign university.
• The Ph.D. degree has been obtained from a foreign university/ institution with a ranking among the top 500 in the World University Ranking (at any time) by any one of the following:

(i) Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) ;
(ii) the Times Higher Education (THE) or
(iii) the Academic Ranking of World Universities (ARWU) of the Shanghai
