About Punjab Technical University
I.K.Gujral Punjab Technical University was established in 1977 as Punjab Technical University. PTU University is located at Kapurthala highway, Jalandhar, India. PTU was later renamed in 2015 in the honour of Sh. Inder Kumar Gujral, former Prime Minister of India. It offers courses in Technology, Management, Pharmaceutical, and more from various disciplines.
The University has 121 AICTE and 65 UGC Institutes affiliated with it. Stretching over 78.16 acres of land, it owns more than 10 campuses throughout the state of Punjab.
