He attended AUP School in Muthuthala for his primary education. He completed his high school education at P.H.S., Pallipuram, Kerala. Krishnan received his secondary education from VHSE in Koppam, Kerala. In order to further his education, he enrolled in SNGS & Co-operative College, Pattambi in B.A. literature and progressed from there.
After graduating, he landed a role in Jibin George James’s 2010 film Face in Facebook, but the film was unable to be completed due to technical issues. He then decided to pursue a career as an anchor. Anoop has appeared as an anchor in a variety of stage shows, including Malabar Mahotsavam, DTPC Onam Fest, and the National Closing Games Ceremony, among others. He did not receive much public recognition after completing this film. However, he gradually began to land roles in various films. Krishnan’s mentor and music director, Sunny Vishwanath, introduced him to Padma Shri Balachandra Menon for a stage show in Dubai. This show paved the way for Anoop to land a role in Balachandra’s 2015 film Njan Samvidhanam Cheyyum. While working on this film, he was chosen for another Sanskrit film, “Ishti,” directed by G.Prabha and released in 2016. Anoop lost 11 kg for this film and also learned to make kathakali ornaments and handicrafts.
